White Lines is a Spanish Netflix Series that focuses on protagonist Axel Collins. He gets murdered. To solve his murder mystery, his sister Zoe leaves her life behind and gets into a decadent path in the process.

Created by Alex Pina, White Lines is a Netflix Original Crime Mystery Drama. Fueled by drugs, raves, and a murder mystery, it was one hell of a roller coaster for many viewers. Well, the news is Netflix is yet to renew the series, but fans are hoping to learn more about the forthcoming season.

What’s the Renewal Status of White Lines Second Season?

The official Netflix Renewal Status for the second season is pending.

Even though the series hasn’t received the most favorable reviews from critics, it’s still being performed relatively well with subscribers.

White Lines has been on top of the most popular TV series on Netflix UK, since making its debut. It has also featured heavily on other most popular lists around the world. The series has performed well in Álex Pina’s home country which is Spain, in particular. Here the series reigns at the top of the TV series category.

What do we know about Season 1 of White Lines?

The first season debuted on 15th May 2020. The script was rather distracted that has strayed away far away from being impressive.

The storyline goes somewhat like this :

Our protagonist, Axel Collins, a free-spirited young bloke from Manchester, leaves for Ibiza in a thoughtless pursuit. The pursuit is to become a DJ. Now, Axel and his bunch of friends named Marcus, Anna, and David also accompany him to find fame, fortune while espousing the life of endless self-indulgence. Then Axel and his friends become even more popular when they start to associate themselves by getting drawn to the rich, powerful, and notorious Calafat family. At this point, trouble starts to brew in Axel’s life. The series swings back and forth between two timelines. The current timeline shows the body of Axel surfacing in the Spanish desert. This is followed by the entry of Zoe, Axel’s sister.

When can we be expecting to see White Lines Season two on Netflix?

It’s unlikely that filming for the second season can begin in June 2020, keeping in mind that filming for Season 1 had began in June, 2019. So if the production begins in the Summer or Fall of this year, we could see Season 2 in the Summer of 2021.
