The Xbox Series X is a new console created by Microsoft for home video gaming play. It was revealed as “Project Scarlett” during E3 2019 and is expected to be launched in late 2020.
The console is part of Xbox hardware’s projected fourth-generation families, replacing the existing Xbox Part model. It is anticipated to have upgraded technology with increased display resolutions and frame rate, with decreased load times.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios doesn’t plan to develop exclusive games for the new console directly. Rather they will develop games that are consistent for both the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X, with some players having additional capabilities for the new console.
Any release date confirmed?
At last year’s Gaming Awards, the firm gave players a first look at the next-gen console. A little over 6 months before Sony raised the curtain on its system in June.
According to Thurrott, who is a well-known industry expert, the initial launch date for the Xbox Series X was supposedly planned at the end of August, but the Covid-19 epidemic was eventually squandered.
If Microsoft launched the Xbox Series X during the summer, the product and console updates, in general, may have been a drastically different strategy.
Historically gaming hardware appears to arrive in November. Though Nintendo has recently bucked the pattern by releasing the Nintendo Switch in March.

There is no sign that Microsoft is planning to reveal the launch date of the new console at a streaming event expected to take place in July. Where the company will speak more about the special first-party titles coming to Xbox Series X.
However, Covid-19 didn’t only impact releasing the Xbox Series X. Microsoft’s widely speculated Xbox Series S (Lockhart Project) is also hit by the pandemic. It was expected to launch in either October or November just after Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S will be a cheaper and less effective Xbox Series X version, but amid several reports, Microsoft has yet to announce its presence.
