13 Reasons Why has completed its fourth and final season. The series is based on a novel 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. The series explored many topics related to teens in America and how things turn toxic in high school.
The story follows the aftermath of Hannah Baker’s suicide. The first season revolves around the situations and people that made Hannah do such a drastic thing. It reveals Hannah faced betrayal by her friends and classmates and even sexual assault. All of it took a heavy toll on Hannah. She decides to record 13 cassettes and each one of them describes the person and situation which led her to end her life. Her suicide deeply impacts her friend Clay Jensen ( played by Dylan Minnette), who is filled with guilt listening to these tapes. He is unable to forgive himself for not being able to help her.
The series was also criticized by the audience for its controversial topics like rape and suicide. But 13 Reasons Why received a largely positive response for its content. The fans are always curious to know if Hannah will ever get justice?

Will Hannah Baker actually return?
Hannah Baker returns back in season 4. Not actually but as a figment of Clay Jensen’s imaginations. Clay is unable to redeem himself even now. Clay imagines Hannah in her Winter formal dress from season 1. Almost the same scene that happens in season 1. This scene sort of hinted that its time for Clay to move on in life. He cannot hold himself responsible for Hannah’s death all his life. Clay must move on with his new love life and bring the past to a closure.
