Stargirl is already airing its episodes of season one. We don’t know if it brings female characters of The Flash or The Green Lantern to the show. Who is Brec Bassinger in Stargirl?

Brec plays the lead Courtney Whitemore. In the series, she has two tasks. One, avenging the death of her father Starman. Two, serving as an inspiration to the new generation of members of the Justice Society of America. In an interview, she shares her opinions on the introduction of female characters on the show. As of now, the show includes Brec and Yolanda as female stars.

She states that fans should not expect more female characters from the original comic book. “Oooh, I don’t know. I guess, I mean, technically, because we’re on a different Earth. There is a Flash on our Earth, so I assume there could be. I don’t know. I don’t think there are any plans to have that soon. What The Stargirl says?

The makers of the show can anytime, release a major post-credits spinoff. That has the capacity to tease the flash or the green lantern to take feminine forms in the Earth itself. Four episodes are already up on the DC Universe and we don’t know if there are chances for new inclusions. Another popular DC show, Arrowverse includes many female speedsters, and hence fans turn towards the Stargirl for the same.
However, Brec appears to be sending no positive signals. She says that it is impossible to bring the Flash into the first season.

Stargirl and the Green Lantern

You would be aware of the news that Green Lantern is returning for a show on HBO Max. Before it could take a desirable form on that show, fans expect Stargirl to move forward and grab the lantern. But all we get is a firm nod. Brec explains that this is not the right time to bring Green Lantern into the show. She says, “Once again, like, the options are endless. Stargirl has all this stuff. So now, it’s just time for her to find the right owner.”

The show, as mentioned above, is set in the new Earth 2. Courtney is the lead character who is concerned with her father’s death and the membership of the JSA- Justice Society of America. The first season ensures an adventurous ride by Courtney and Yolanda. Courtney says that Yolanda is her crime-fighting partner. They both take the plot forward. Courtney gifts Yolanda, a new uniform and mask. It is like handing over the lantern and saying- You can do anything with this lantern, perform magical tricks, etc unless you face a yellow light.

More commonly, the power decides who does what. The power itself manifests to be in the hands of a powerful person. So we don’t know if the power can bring back the famous female characters of the comic. The original comic’s creator is Geoff Johns. Stargirl debuted on the television screen on May 18, 2020.

While speaking about the possibilities of adding members to the Justice Society of America, Brec reveals, “I’ll just say for the first season, the JSA is Wildcat, Hourman, Dr. Mid-Nite, Stargirl and S.T.R.I.P.E. That is your JSA that we assemble in this first season, and we’re kind of the ones who take on the ISA. So as for the pen, I think that, as you asked about The Flash coming in later, I think the pink pen is kind of a setup for maybe a new JSA member.” Will The Flash or the Green Lantern arrive on Stargirl?
