Phil Coulson, played by Clark Gregg has been a part of the MCU from 2008. He paved his way into the Universe with Iron Man! He has also appeared in Thor, The Avengers and Captain Marvel. Coulson made his way into ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D‘ in 2013 and there has been no looking back since. But the series is coming to an end this year. So, we all have one question. Is this the end of Phil Coulson’s journey with Marvel?

Clark Gregg’s Interview With Variety
Variety recently interviewed Gregg and asked, “Do you think you’ll ever play Coulson again?”
Clark said:
“This seems like a really good time to announce that…I really don’t know. [Laughs] Sorry. That was a little bit of quarantine sadism. I don’t know anything! It’s hard for me to imagine a scenario where I’d say, ‘No, I’m too busy to put on whatever the latest version of the suit is and go play Phil Coulson.’ I’m always thrilled when I see them changing timelines and exposing a multiverse in the cinematic [universe]. Because I think, ‘Well, I’ve seen scenarios where I could be around!’ So I really learned with this character to never say never, but I’m also really grateful for the ride that we had.”
Gregg said, ‘never say never’. So, there’s still a chance that Coulson could return! He was killed in ‘The Avengers’ yet he returned to ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ as a Life Model Decoy. He is the character who never dies! Phil is a fan favourite and fans are heartbroken that this could be the end of his journey once and for all. But if Marvel wants to bring him back, they will figure out a way to do that!
There are speculations that Coulson could be brought back on Disney+ with an entire show for himself! This is because many other fan favourite characters like Loki and Hawkeye are being given entire shows to themselves.
Do you think that’s the end of Phil Coulson forever or is there a chance to bring him back?
