Wolf Hall, is a British television series, based on the two novels, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel. The series first aired on BBC Two on January 21, 2015.
The six-part series has 60 -65 minutes per episode. The series was a critical success and received eight nominations at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards and three nominations at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards, winning for Best Miniseries or Television Film. The series was renewed for a new season.

Wolf Hall Season 2 Release Date
The makers of the show have not confirmed any release date of the show. As of now, we can expect it by the end of 2022 or the mid of 2023.
The new season is expected to have six episodes like Season 1. The developers might make some other changes in Season 2 which could be announced in the next few months.
Wolf Hall Plot and Cast
The story follows Cromwell’s rise to power and his mission to free the King of his second wife. The Mirror and the Light will be published on 5th March 2020, eight years after the previous installment. It is expected to cover the last few years of Cromwell’s life, from Anne Boleyn’s death to his own execution in 1540.
Now talking about the cast, it includes Mark Rylance as Thomas Cromwell, Damian Lewis as Henry VIII, Claire Foy as Anne Boleyn, and Bernard Hill as Duke of Norfolk.
We might get to see Anton Lesser as Thomas More, Mark Gatiss as Stephen Gardiner, Mathieu Amalric as Eustache Chapuys, and Joanne Whalley as Katherine of Aragon.
