Written and directed by Abe Forsythe, Wolf Like Me is a comedy-drama miniseries. Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Isla Fisher and Josh Gad are the executive producers of the show.
The first season of the series premiered on January 13, 2022 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Wolf Like Me Plot and Cast
The makers have not revealed anything on what would happen in Wolf Like Me Season 2. However, it will continue from where the first season ended.
The basic premise follows Gary, a single father living in Adelaide, Australia with his 11-year-old daughter Emma and both of them are still emotionally traumatized by the death of Emma’s mother, Lisa, 7 years earlier. They meet Mary, an isolated advice columnist recovering from her own complex emotional baggage.
But despite her attempts to stay away, they keep meeting again and again, in a cluster of coincidences that imply the hand of destiny. While Gary struggles to connect to his daughter, for Mary reaching Emma is all but effortless. However, Mary’s baggage involves a deadly secret that she fears might hurt the two.
The lead cast members of Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles in Season 2. This includes Isla Fisher, Josh Gad, Ariel Donoghue, Emma Lung, Anthony Taufa and Alan Dukes.
Wolf Like Me Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Wolf Like Me premiered in January 2022 and it was renewed for a second season in April 2022. Considering that, the second season should premiere sometime in 2023.
The upcoming season might consist of six episodes like the first season, although an official confirmation is awaited. The series is distributed by NBCUniversal and it will air on Stan and Peacock.
