WRATH Aeon of Ruin is built on a modified version of the quake engine. This will be the first major game release on that engine in nearly 20 years. WRATH Aeon of Ruin is an first-person shooter game. Release
Earlier the game’s early access with the first episode was planned for ” Summer 2019″. The early access requires a full-price purchase. The game release was postponed to November 2019. The second early access content update came on March 28, 2020. The game can release by the mid of 2021. The game will release on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Play station 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Gameplay
The game continues in the tradition of the 1990’s FPS like Doom, Blood, and Quake. Players can collect items and skills to upgrade abilities. The game features three hub worlds for the players to explore. The player must battle with multiple enemies and bosses. There are ten artifacts that can give offensive as well as defensive enhancement. There are nine weapons in the game. We have early access to six of them. Six weapons are blade, Coach gun, shotgun, fang spitter, stretcher, and spellbook.
Plot
The player wakes up by the sound of water dripping from the ceiling. It is dark around you expect for the lights from distant candles. Then while walking towards the candles some wooden planks block your path. With the help of the blade, you can destroy the boards. In the game, the player can take on the Outlander. He comes to the dying world to destroy the remaining guardians of the old world. Weapons will meet with your enemies and soon chaos will start. The game has no story in early access but they plan to add story mode and plot elements after launch. There are limits such as only one first hub world, two levels of the second world, eight out of fifteen-plus enemies, and more. Also, we have limited access to leveling up the character.
