Gameplay
You’re an Outlander. If you’ve stepped into the Ageless Sea, you’re now on the shores of a dying planet. A man shrouded in white appears from the burning gloom, the Shepherd of Wayward Souls, who tasks you with the duty of tracking down the last guardians of the Ancient World.
You have to venture through the deep darkness to visit ancient ruins, uncover lost mysteries and battle the monsters lurking within.
Packed with weapons of incredible strength and an arsenal of valuable objects, you have to go through ancient crypts, sunken cities, ruined temples, and hurling trees to destroy your foes. But don’t underestimate your enemies, since they are strong in number and strength. If you intend to escape the threats ahead, your mind needs to be as sharp as your blade.
Ten elements can contribute to offensive or defensive changes. At launch, WRATH will depict deathmatch multiplayer gameplay based on QuakeWorld netcode. 3D Realms also confirmed that new multiplayer modes are scheduled for post-launch, and also a 4-player co-op mode.
