Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite version with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage to be launched soon



Xiaomi is well known to create a buzz in the mobile market. The brand has always garnered huge traction of customers because of innovation. Taking the buzz forward, Xiaomi is upgrading one of its successful models.

Exciting Model Upgrades

Xiaomi is adding more oomph to the Mi 8 Lite model. The new model is expected to come with 4 GB Ram and 128 GB internal storage. This is some great news for smartphone enthusiasts who swear by the device’s speed! The upgraded models are expected to be launched by Xiaomi later this month. The expanded portfolio of Mi 8 would consist of Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite. Earlier, the Lite was available with a 6 GB RAM option.

The phone offered 64/128 GB storage and 4/64 GB storage combos. Recently, the next variant with 4/128 GB combo was launched in China. The phone received a rave review from the Chinese customers.

Expected Launch Date

The Chinese launch of the model is slated for November 16th. The phone will then be launched in other international markets.

Specification Update

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite offered an introductory specification with 6.22” notched screen. The earlier phone was equipped with a 24 Megapixel front-facing camera. The camera was reviewed to deliver top quality images and selfies! Another upgrade expected is that of Snapdragon 660 chipset. Besides, the handset is coming with a 3350 mAh battery and fast charging.

Other features include a dual-camera on the back panel for the best quality images. Apart from that, the device will offer with a fingerprint scanner on the back.

International Market

The initial international markets to be targeted by the brand are Europe, Ukraine, and France. Xiaomi recently hosted a major promotional party for the UK market to create awareness. The company is also planning to launch in the United States market soon. So, it is final, the much sought after, Mi 8 is going places!
