After the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi has unveiled the much affordable Redmi 7 in China today. The company is also showcased the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is considerably different from the Indian version. The Redmi 7 has been declared with some huge upgrades from its predecessors. It also takes with it the gradient design, Dot Notch display, and more.
Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro: Specifications
The Redmi 7 had been teased and leaked fairly for a while now. The Redmi 7 packs a 4000mAh battery and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. Just like the new-fangled Redmi Note 7 series, the Redmi 7 sports a 6.26-inch Dot Notch display. The phone also carries with it a dual camera arrangement on the back with a 12-megapixel and a secondary 8-megapixel unit. The Redmi 7 is launched in multiple colours like Blue, Red, and Black.
Talking about the second device which is launched along with Redmi 7, the Chinese version of Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes with amazing specs. The phone carries the same 48-megapixel sensor which is found on the Indian variant. This variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage considerably similar to the Indian variant. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC powers this variant. The phone will also arrive with support for 18W fast charging. Both the Redmi 7 and Note 7 Pro acquire P2i nano-coating waterproofing.
Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro: Price and Availability
The Redmi 7 has been tossed at CNY 699 for the 2GB/16GB variant (approximately 7,000 INR), CNY 799 (about 8,000 INR) for the 3GB/32GB and goes all the way up to CNY 999 (about 10,000 INR) for the 4GB/64GB high-end variant. For the moment, there is no word on Indian pricing. The Chinese Redmi Note 7 Pro, on the other hand with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage has been publicised at CNY 1,599 and will go on sale in China starting March 22.
