Xiaomi Redmi 7 to come in 11 colors, reveals TENAA



Yesterday an unknown Xiaomi smartphone with model number M1901F9T was certified in Chinese regulatory agency TENAA that is expected to be the Redmi 7 to be launched in 2019. Earlier, the same smartphone with another variant with model number M1901F7T, M1901F7E and M1901F7C was certified by 3C authority in China. Today, the full spec sheet of the Xiaomi M1901F9T was published in TENAA revealing some interesting set of features.


The new spec sheet reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will be powered by an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz and will have at least 11 color options which will be a new record for the Chinese manufacturer. The device will have 3GB/4GB and 6GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage.

In the optics department, it will sport a 12MP rear camera while offering an 8MP selfie camera. However, from the images, it clearly shows a vertically stacked dual camera set up at the rear with a LED flash below.T he smartphone is previously known to sport a 5.84-inch display with a waterdrop notch and backed by a 2900 mAh battery. It will boot Android OS out of the box with likely MIUI on top. The device is comparatively small 147.76 x 71.89 x7.8 mm while weighing 150 grams. There is a circular fingerprint sensor at the back. The color options of the handset are Black, Blue, White, Yellow, Red, Green, Purple, Pink, Silver, Gold, and Grey.

The previous Xiaomi smartphones that were released this year had an “M18” at the start of their model numbers while the Xiaomi M1901F9T has “M19” in its name indicating that will launch next year. However, the Chinese manufacturer is yet to formally announce the smartphone and it may give some details on the December 24 launch event where it will unveil the Xiaomi Play.
