Created by Jenny Han, XO, Kitty is an upcoming romantic dramedy streaming series for Netflix. Creator Han is also the executive producer along with Sascha Rothchild and Matt Kaplan.
The series marks the first Netflix television series, spun off from a Netflix original film. It is a spin-off of the To All the Boys film series, which was an adaptation of Han’s book trilogy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

XO, Kitty Plot and Cast
In XO, Kitty, teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.
Now talking about the cast, it includes Anna Cathcart as Kitty, Choi Min-young as Dae, Anthony Keyvan as Q, and Gia Kim as Yuri. We will also get to see Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, Regan Aliya as Juliana, and many others.
XO, Kitty Release Date
The series has been in development since 2021 when Deadline confirmed reports the series was being eyed by Netflix. XO, Kitty was officially confirmed in October 2021.
Netflix hasn’t set a release date for the series yet, but given filming is due to end by June, there is a slim chance we could see the series arrive on Netflix before the end of 2022. It is confirmed that the series will have 10 episodes, each consisting of 30 minutes.
