Yakuza: Like a Dragon – Release Date and Gameplay!

Yakuza: Like a Dragon, it is a role-playing game that is created and produced by Sega. This is the eighth major release of the Yakuza series, which was released in Japan on January 16, 2020, for PS4.

Release Date

Sega has announced that it will release, the latest installment in the long-running franchise, in the West this November.

This is set for a worldwide release for PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in November 2020. The latter will include the game as their launch title. It will be released on November 12th, according to a pre-order listing on Microsoft Store. The version of PlayStation 5 is set for release sometime after the announcement of Xbox Series X.

Gameplay

The game, tells the story of Ichiban. A good-for-nothing orphan who joins the Arakawa Clan when his grandfather spared his life. This is only until one-day events begin to go wrong that both men follow very different paths and unexpectedly Ichiban finds himself in contrast to the man who saved his life.

It’s up to you to figure out what happened to the Arakawa family is usually dramatic Yakuza form, and what made it all change so dramatically.

The game, published in Japan in January. It is very different from previous Yakuza games, not only because of its round-based RPG combat.

Wild-haired Ichiban is somewhat distinct from past Yakuza characters, but at least the trend of signature satire and penchant for mini-games has not shifted.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon, is available in two different versions. The Day Ichi Edition features costumes from the entire series with various Yakuza characters. The Hero Edition adds two more roles to it, which means it you essentially get two more combat types for your hero party, as well as extra workers for the Management Mode video game.

The digital-only Legendary Hero versions come with all the rewards listed above, as well as the Scripting Package for item scripting, more costumes, karaoke songs, and a collection of stat boosts.

The protagonist of the previous Yakuza series is making an appearance. He and the other characters of the former Yakuza-era serve as summonses available for use in combat. Kiryu himself will periodically feature in the game mode as well.
