You Season 4 Part 2: Release Date, Plot and more!

Developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble, You is an American psychological thriller television series based on the books by Caroline Kepnes. The first season of the series premiered on September 9, 2018, on Lifetime. On December 3, 2018, it was confirmed that Lifetime had rescinded its renewal of the series and that Netflix had picked up You ahead of the release of the second season.

In January 2020, the series was renewed for a third season by Netflix, which was released on October 15, 2021. In the third season, Saffron Burrows was upgraded to a series regular, joining newly cast Travis Van Winkle, Shalita Grant, Tati Gabrielle, and Dylan Arnold. In October 2021, ahead of the third season premiere, the series was renewed for a fourth season.

So, when is the second part of Season 4 releasing? What is the plot? Who will come back to play their roles? Keep reading to know more.

You Plot and Cast

You Season 3 had a pretty dramatic finale, to put it lightly. The last we saw of Joe, he was going by “Nick” and had just touched down in Paris in search of Marienne, who is originally from the French capital. We know that the majority of You Season 4 will take place in London, with only some of the season being briefly set in Paris.

At Netflix’s Tudum event, it was confirmed Joe has taken on a new alter-ego. He’s now pretending to be a college professor named Jonathan Moore. This makes sense, as we know some of the show was filmed on location at Royal Holloway University. However, just what he’s up to in his new life hasn’t yet been revealed.

And it’s not just the location that will be different this time around. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Badgley said: “The tone is similar but it’s shifting in that there is a different format. We’re using a different format,” he emphasized. “It’s almost like we’re shifting the genre slightly. And I think it works.”

Talking about the cast, it includes Penn Badgley, Lukas Gage, Charlotte Ritchie, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, and Ed Speleers. You will also get to see Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Stephen Hagan, Ben Wiggins Eve Austin, and more.

You Season 4 Part 2 Release Date

The fourth season of the series You was ordered by Netflix on October 13, 2021. The season is slated to be split in two parts, with the first part set to be premiered on February 10, 2023 followed by the second part on March 10, 2023.

It’s not clear yet how many episodes each part will contain, but at least we know that we won’t be waiting long between the two drops to find out what happens next.
