Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, 9-1-1 is an American procedural television series. Murphy, Falchuk, and Minear are also the executive producers alongside Juan Carlos Coto, Kristen Reidel, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray, Bradley Buecker, Peter Krause, and Angela Bassett.
The first season premiered on January 3, 2018, followed by the second on September 23 of the same year. The third season was released on September 23, 2019, and the fourth was released on January 18, 2021. The fifth season premiered on September 20, 2021. It has received positive reviews from critics and the makers have already renewed the show for a sixth season.

According to an official update that is made by Fox on June 6, season 6 of 9-1-1 will release on September 19, 2022, exactly as season 5 came in 2021. If season 5 is any indicator, season 6 of 9-1-1 will include 18 episodes with a midseason break from December 2022 to March 2023.
The show will continue to be broadcast on Fox every Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes will also be made available the day after they premiere on Disney+ and Hulu starting in the summer of 2023.
