The film Magician was released in 2005, and this series is based on it. The producer and writer of this excellent crime thriller is Scott Ryan, who also directed the film. About the show:
Ray Shoesmith, a hitman for hire with a double life, is the protagonist of the show. He has responsibilities to friends and family, despite the fact that he makes a living murdering people. With his ex-wife Jacinta, he has a daughter named Brittany. He tries his utmost to do his best for his daughter while still attempting to do his best for others. Ray also has a girlfriend, Ally, whom he adores and with whom he seeks to maintain a healthy relationship. Not only that, but he also looks after his sick pal, Bruce. He also keeps an eye out for his buddy Gary. Ray’s boss, Freddy, commands him to carry out various hit jobs. Ray’s criminal past is beginning to catch up with him and wreak havoc on his personal life.
