Capital One College Bowl Season: Release Date, Cast, Trailer and More!

Hello, Readers! The NBC’s Capital One College Bowl, which will be hosted by renowned NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and his brother Cooper Manning as a sidekick, will take place in the summer. The show is a remake of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning “College Bowl,” which aired on NBC earlier.

As they compete for academic prizes, the series takes college students outside of the classroom and puts their knowledge to the test.

Participants will receive a total of $1 million in scholarships from Capital One. Special mention is given to the recipients of the Capital One Merit Award for the series. Capital One is a key partner in the series, guaranteeing that no student goes home empty-handed.

The series will launch on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

What is this about?

In each episode of Capital One College Bowl, three-person teams representing some of the country’s best colleges compete in a four-round bracketed competition. To answer inquiries on a wide range of topics, teams must work together. The top two teams progress to the championship game, where they will battle for the Capital One College Bowl trophy and a scholarship to help them further their education.

All competitors will receive tuition help as a result of their participation in the series, thanks to a partnership with Capital One. In addition to being the Capital One College Bowl champions, members of the winning team will get a larger scholarship.

Four students will receive the Capital One Merit Award in appreciation of their demonstrated character outside of the competition. Leadership qualities, as well as participation in community-oriented extracurricular activities.

Who’s in it?

Peyton Manning, Cooper Manning, Eli Manning, and Richard Reid are executive producers of the show. Richard Reid Productions, Inc. and Mark Itkin’s Tough Lamb Media are involved. The showrunner for the series is David Friedman.

University of Alabama, Auburn University, Columbia University, University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, Ole Miss, Morehouse College, University of Tennessee, University of Southern California, UCLA, University of Virginia, and Xavier University of Louisiana are among the schools participating
