Tiger King 2- Trailer and More Updates!

The Netflix hit series Tiger King 2 is almost here! After the first season gained rave reviews from global viewers during the covid-19 pandemic lockdown, the blockbuster show is back for a second run. The second season was officially announced by Netflix in September 2021. Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin have directed this season once again. The show will pick up right where it left off after its shocking ending in season one.

Tiger King 2: Plot and Cast

Tiger King is an American true crime miniseries. It follows the close circle of deep connections between big cat collectors and activists. Therefore, viewers get to see the clash between animal rights advocate Carole Baskin and a collector named Joe Exotic. The first season focused on the friction between the two. It ended with Exotic’s arrest for the attempted murder of Baskin.

This season will likely show the former in prison while the latter gets closer to owning his zoo. The official synopsis tells us that new secrets and twists will be revealed as the saga unfolds bit by bit. Whatever it may be, viewers can for sure expect drama and fights aplenty!

The cast will be the same as season one, albeit with the absence of break-out star Carole Baskin who had made it clear that she had been less than pleased with Netflix’s portrayal of her in the first season. Exotic, who is currently serving time at American federal prison, does, however, make an appearance in the trailer for season 2, so we might still see more of him. Also, Tim Stark, Jeff Lowe, Allen Glover, and James Garretson will all be returning as themselves in the second season.
