The Good Fight is an American legal drama created by Robert King, Michelle King, and Phil Alden Robinson is a spin-off and standalone sequel to The Good Wife, which was created by the Kings.

The first season consists of 10 episodes and premiered on February 19, 2017, with the first episode airing on CBS and the following nine episodes on CBS All Access.

The Good Fight Plot and Cast

In The Good Fight Season 5, Diane finds herself questioning her decisions when two of the most important lawyers, Lucca and Adrian, can work for a long time with Reddick, Boseman, and Lockhart. At the same time, Marissa and the firm are teaming up with Hal Wacker, who is in charge of setting up an upgraded courtroom.

Despite the quarrel between Diane and Liz, they continue to work on cases together. Season 5 also deals with current issues such as Covid-19, discrimination in access to health care, and police brutality.

For the sixth season, we’ll learn what the future holds for Diane, especially as she seems to be considering leaving the company for season 5. Towards the end of the fifth tour of the game, we see Judge Wackner’s court gaining popularity, even amid law enforcement.

Good Fight Season 6 is not possible without the protagonist, Diane Lockhart. Henceforth, Christine Baranski will reprise her role as the central character in the upcoming season as well. Besides her, the other characters include Sarah Stelle as Marissa Gold, Nyambi Nyambi as Jay DiPersia, Michael Boatman as Julius Cain, Audra McDonald as Liz Reddick, Zach Grenier as David Lee, Charmaine Bingwa as Carmen Moyo, Mandy Patinkin as Hal Wacker.

Cush Jumbo and Delroy Lindo will not appear in the sixth season as their characters have finished their part in season 5. However, we might see some new characters in the show as well.

The Good Fight Season 6 Release Date

After four episodes of season 5, the streaming network renewed the series for a sixth season in 2021. Although the show is renewed for a sixth season, there is no official release date yet.

The new season of The Good Fight is expected to have ten episodes like the previous five seasons. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
