The executive producers of the show include Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Bryan Unkeless, Eric Newman, Paris Barclay, Naomi Watts, Ariel Schulman, Henry Joost, and Scoop Wasserstein, and produced by Ryan Murphy Productions.

The basic premise of the story follows a married couple, who are harassed by letters signed by a stalker after moving into their dream house in a fictionalized version of Westfield, New Jersey.
