Created by Patrick Macmanus, Dr. Death is an American crime drama anthology television series. It is inspired by a podcast of the same name and the main story follows Christopher Duntsch. He is a neurosurgeon who has been harming patients and also murdered two patients.

Macmanus is also the executive producer of the series along with Todd Black, Taylor Latham, Aaron Hart, Hernan Lopez, Alec Baldwin, and many more are there. NBCUniversal announced on September 17, 2019, that the series would be distributed on its streaming service Peacock.

The makers have not shared anything about the plot details of Dr. Death season 2. However, it is confirmed to continue from where the first season ended.

The recurring cast of the series includes Fred Lehne as Don Duntsch, Maryann Plunkett as Madeline Beyer, Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Geoffrey Skadden, Molly Griggs as Wendy Young, Dashiell Eaves as Stan Novak, Kelly Kirklyn as Dorothy Burke, Hubert Point-Du Jour as Josh Baker, Grainger Hines as Earl Burke, Dominic Burgess as Jerry Summers, Laila Robins as Amy Piel, and many more are there.

Dr. Death Season 2 Release Date

The makers have renewed Dr. Death for a second season on July 14, 2022. It was revealed in October last year that Jennifer Morrison would helm the first four episodes and the rest shall be helmed by Laura Belsey.

The series was released on July 15, 2021, on Peacock. the first season holds approval ratings of 92% on the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.
