Produced by Marvel Studios, the series is considered to be the 12th television series and is a spin-off from the series WandaVision (2021).

According to sources, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on September 19, 2024, and is a part of Phase Five of the MCU. Agatha: Darkhold Diaries will consist of a total of nine episodes.
