Created and written by Andy Wolton, Trying is a comedy television series produced for Apple TV+. Wolton is also the executive producer alongside Jim O’Hanlon and Josh Cole.

The first season of the series premiered on May 1, 2020, followed by the second season on May 21, 2021. A fourth season has been already ordered by Apple TV+. The show has also received positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and 69 out of 100 on Metacritic.

The basic premise of the show focuses on Nikki and Jason, a couple who really want to become parents but who struggle with conceiving a child. The makers have recently revealed that the third season of Trying is scheduled to release on September 1, 2023. The upcoming season is expected to have eight episodes like the previous seasons. Further details are expected to be revealed in the next few months.
