Avision Launches World’s First Self-Service Copier in India

Taiwan-based AVISION has launched the world’s first self-service copier in India. The world’s leading imaging company that designs and produces images and multifunction scanners made this device to help in mobile printing, cloud printing, USB printing and ID card copying. It has no need for any device or personal and users can access all services from Avision self-service copier’s touch screen panel. The company plans to install Avision Self-Service Copiers PAN India by Nov 2019.

Avision plans to install 3,000 units of its self-service copiers across the county. By making partnership with various entities, it aims to bring affordable printing solutions for consumers in India. The company which has been working with government agencies and banks in India over the last decade clarified that the latest device accepts mobile payment and allows users to pay for its services digitally.

Avision Self-Service Copier and Printer feature a 4.3-inch color touch-screen display for easy operation. It produces professional quality print and copy at the speed of approx 30 copies per minute. There is a high-yield 4,000-pages toner cartridges and a large capacity tray of up to 250 sheets of paper. The device is equipped with a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot for good signal quality without the need of connecting an Ethernet cable.

“To meet the ever-growing demand of mobile pay, we have innovated Avision Self-Service Copier and Printer to make online payment, copying and printing easier for the users in a self service environment,” Avision Marketing Head Claire Sung said. India Channel Sales Head Mr Arsh said Avision Self-Service Copier and Printer offer users a more convenient and secure way to pay and access service. It further helps business owners in reducing labour costs as the user doesn’t need personnel near the device while operating it.

Claire Sung further added that these printers will be ideal for different locations like school campuses, library, hostels and hospitality business, retail stores, copy and print shops and more. The locations would be shown on an app for customer’s convenience. The company is yet to disclose the pricing of the product, but said it will work with the partners on a revenue-sharing model.
