Big Brother is one of the famous shows worldwide and it ran for 21 seasons until now. It’s known for its controversies and romance of the couple. One of the famous couples from Big Brother Season 21 is Kathryn Dunn and Nick Maccarone, who broke up after a year or so of dating.
Kathryn and Nick met at Big Brother season 21 in the summer of 2019. During the show, Nick fell in love with Bella Wang, and when she was sent home that’s when Nick and Kathryn struck a chord after they were sent to the jury house. They claimed that Bella Wang moved on, and she knows that Nick and Kathryn are physically and emotionally involved.
Ever since then they are dating. But now in the time of the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19, Kathryn and Nick can’t help with the long-distance dating and called off their relationship after about a year. They split up on 9 April 2020 after an argument on Instagram when they canceled their romantic getaway. Kathryn spoke to US Weekly about her break up, she said, ‘just the whole timing of quarantine took a toll’. Fans involved with the drama quickly after Kathryn canceled on seeing Nick. She said that they’re not being able to see each other with the stress of staying at home is impacting their relationship, and that’s how they started picking up arguments.
Before the breakup, Kathryn was live on Instagram with Nick and was poking him with jokes, but he reacted very poorly to it and Kathryn said that this is his usual reaction to her jokes which is the effect of quarantine, and also because of harsh comments by the followers of Nick on Instagram about Kathryn that she’s being rude with him on a public platform. Later, Nick left the Live Instagram video and started arguing with her on comments in a public platform which she considers to be ‘childish’.
Kathryn said they had a good talk on the phone and came to a decision to break up. She added that they’re on good terms and will try their best to remain friends instead of cold-hearted exes.
