Created by Patrick Macmanus, Dr. Death is an American crime drama anthology television series. It is inspired from a podcast of the same name and the main story follows Christopher Duntsch. He is a neurosurgeon who has been harming patients and also murdered two patients.
Macmanus is also the executive producer of the series along with Todd Black, Taylor Latham, Aaron Hart, Hernan Lopez, Alec Baldwin, and many more are there. NBCUniversal announced on September 17, 2019, that the series would be distributed on its streaming service Peacock.

The makers have renewed Dr. Death for a second season on July 14, 2022. It was revealed in October last year that Jennifer Morrison would helm the first four episodes and the rest shall be helmed by Laura Belsey.
The series was released on July 15, 2021, on Peacock. the first season holds approval ratings of 92% on the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.
