Information about the game was first leaked in 2017 by Grand Theft Auto veteran Leslie Benzies, who said that a new studio was working on the game. The company was reportedly planning to bring an open-world game where gamers could do anything.
Benzies said at the time that players are now becoming smarter and they need more from each game. He said that the company was planning to give the real freedom that the gamers want and there would be a lot of gaming modes and styles equipped inside.
The launch date was confirmed to be sometime in 2023. A news release stated that there will be a lot of adventurous activities included inside. It also revealed that there will be a new gaming experience for everyone where players connect between themselves and the digital world that surrounds them.
However, the platform where the game would be released has not been mentioned specifically. Benzies said at the time that their intention has always been to push the boundaries in terms of video games.
