In the previous season, there was a gang war between Loy Cannon and Josto Fadda’s crew among which the latter had his authority on the gang destroyed by the arrival of his younger brother Gaetano. Since most of the characters ended up dead by the end of their seasons, there is not a lot of room for overlapping storylines.
Talking about the plot of Season 5, it might be set in a completely different time period and location. The show might be called Fargo but it is expanding among Midwestern United States in places where you don’t expect crimes to take place.
Overall details related to the plot of fifth season is still a mystery. However, the new season is expected to receive the similar response like we got to see in the previous seasons. The series is basically inspired by the 1996 film of the same name.
Talking about the cast of Season 5, details remains unknown. In the previous four seasons popular faces like Billy Bob Thornton, Patrick Wilson, Carrie Coon, and Jack Huston played the lead roles.
Fargo Season 5 Release Date
Coming to the release date, the makers have not yet announced anything officially. There was a gap of three and a half years between Season 3 and Season 4.
For now, we can expect the fifth season to release sometime in 2023 or 2024. The upcoming season is expected to have ten episodes like the first three seasons, except the fourth which had eleven episodes.
