Good Girls is an American crime comedy-drama television series. Jenna Bans created the series. It premiered on NBC on 26 February 2018. Bans, Dean Parisot (who directed the pilot), and Jeannine Renshaw are the executive producers. They produced it for the Universal Television. On 7 May 2018, NBC renewed the series for a second season. It premiered on 3 March 2019. On 12 April 2019, NBC renewed the series for a third season of 16 episodes. It then premiered on 16 February 2020. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the third season was cut down to 11 episodes.
What is Good Girls about?
The series follows three suburban Michigan mothers, two of whom are sisters, who are having a hard time trying to make ends meet. Also they are tired of having everything taken away from them. So they decide to pull off an unlikely heist by robbing a supermarket, only to discover that they’re in for more than they bargained. Their successful robbery attracts the attention of the store manager. He recognizes one of the women, but for a different reason altogether than just the money.
