This pandemic has provided us with good new content to watch and kill our times. However, there come some new series and movies. These are the ones that have been affected immensely by Pandemic COVID-19. Talking about this, Demon Slayer, the anime has been affected by it majorly.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series. Koyoharu Gotōge has written and illustrated the series.
The story follows the voyage of Tanjiro Kamado, who is a young boy. He is shattered as his family is killed. And so, he becomes a demon slayer. Nezuko, Tanjor’s younger sister is also turned into a demon.

Demon Slayer: Is Season 2 Happening?
Unfortunately, we do not know if this marvelous anime series will have another season or not. But, it looks like it wouldn’t be renewing soon. Thanks to Pandemic Coronavirus, it has partially shut down the entertainment industry, and now animes too.
The makers have officially not made any statement of renewal of the series. However, fans need not worry, because here we see a good rating the anime series has gathered.
The ratings are good, and hence, we can hope for another season from their side. Fans have loved the show. So, we will be needing season two without any further doubt.
What will we get to see if not Demon Slayer Season 2?
As we discussed, we are not sure if season 2 is happening or not.
The makers and creators of the series, team Ufotable has certainly not spoken about Season 2 of Demon Slayer. However, they indeed have made some official announcement on another project related to the series.
Ufotable is currently focusing on the release of their upcoming film, ‘The Demon Slayer: Infinity Train’. The movie will be shown as the story that will follow the voyage of the anime series.
That movie will be speculated to be released around next year, 2020, in October in Japan. However, the movie is expected to release in the United States in about early 2021.

Hence, as of now, there is no premiere date for season 2 of the Demon Slayer. Fans are hoping they will get to know the renewal or release date of the same after the release of the movie ‘The Demon Slayer: Infinity Train’. According to sources, maybe the creators will take 2-3 years to make it into happening.
