Created by Michael Colton and John Aboud, Home Economics is an American sitcom television series which is premiered on ABC on April 7, 2021. Colton and Aboud are also the executive producers alongside Jason Wang, Dean Holland, Topher Grace, Eric Tannenbaum, and Kim Tannenbaum.
The second season of the series premiered on ABC on September 22, 2021. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third season which is set to premiere very soon.

All the 22 episodes of the second season of Home Economics were released with the concluding episode. The title was revealed as, Ticket to Space, $1 Million, which was directed by Dean Holland and written by Michael Colton & John Aboud. The official synopsis of the episode indicates that Tom attempts to keep Connor grounded after he announces his plans to go to space; Marina gets stuck while trying to transform the attic into a writing space for Tom.
The episode was estimated to be viewed by 1.81 US million viewers. The series is expected to be continued from this very moment of the finale episode of the second season will pick up and reveal where the series is going in terms of characters and storylines for the third season. All these prior episodes have set the tone for the upcoming season, which will lead the story to develop and expand further which will be exciting for the viewers to tune into watching the series.
We’d like to note that Home Economics Season 3 could see some new cast additions and exits of some characters, which will be revealed once filming begins and is officially confirmed. Meanwhile, it is assumed that the original cast will return for the future season, as the network has yet to announce any new updates about the casting as of May 25, 2022.

The series renewal was officially announced by ABC on May 14, 2022. The series will be released on ABC on September 21, 2022.
Although the precise number of episodes for Season 3 has yet to be revealed, we can not anticipate the total number of episodes for the upcoming season because the first season had 7 episodes and the second season has 22 episodes which is a drastic difference in only two seasons.
