Monica is the host of this show, which explores the dark side of the American Dream by recording untold real crime stories about basketball players, rappers, models, and other celebrities who paid a high price for fame.
This is Monica’s first time hosting a true-crime show. She’s been a force in the music industry for for two decades, having signed her first record deal at the age of twelve. From her debut album “Miss Thang,” released in 1995, she became the youngest female to have two #1 back-to-back hits on Billboard’s R&B chart. Monica is also the first artist to achieve three consecutive #1 Billboard singles, putting her in the company of legends like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, James Brown, and Marvin Gaye.
