Jim Jefferies calls out Millennials and shuns Cancel Culture: Read more!

Jim Jefferies in calls out Millenials and shuns Cancel culture in his latest stand up comedy show for Netflix, called ‘Intolerant’. The stand up special produced by Netflix has gained attraction for two things, Jim Jefferies and the controversy he brings.

The comedian in his special piece slammed the millennials and talked about cancel culture. Cancel culture inherently is cancelling of a culture, social, political or economical movements or any norm that is thriving in the society. Any movement like the Black Lives Matter, Me Too Movement or be it art or philosophical movement which the millennials support or provide aide fo is questioned by many others from the society or those who oppose such culture.

The anti followers of such movements, revolutions and culture are called Cancel Culture propagators. Jim in his piece snubbed Millenials for being ignorant and for following the herd mentality. He called them out for their privilege and their entitlement. How this affects their mentality and the very fundamentals of their personality.

He is known for his dark and dry humour. His humour has always left his audience with wide eyes and biting hard on their lips to control their laughter. Jim is an acclaimed comedian known for his punchlines, his delivery is fantastic as well.

Jim addressed the issue of millennials and cancel culture trying to drive comedians out of the entertainment industry. He mentioned how the upcoming generation is hypocritical and are thrashing the comedians for offering raw and original content.

The morality ban on the content of the comedians is putting their career at hold and is making it difficult for them to entertain the audience yet to maintain a cloud of morality. The issue with providing to the need to the audience is that it kills the authenticity of the entertainers.

The comedian felt that this shows the lack of representation for the community of comedians. He feels this lack of representation leads to alienation and a sense of isolation amongst the entertainers. While the audience can easily dictate the terms of their career (the entertainers) the comedians don’t have the rights to fight back with full authority as it leads to a lot of backlashes.

The paradigm which is set for the entertainers by the audience is extremely toxic and harsh. Survival of the fittest is the statement which is thriving in this industry. However, this environment leaves no scope for growth for the comedians. It eliminates their opportunity to climb up the ladder of success in their career.

Jim practices harsh but also very pragmatic principles. His outlook towards this whole situation is very staunch and wishes to represent the community and wants the rights of the entertainers to be protected and upheld by the industry. There is an unsaid disappointment which he supports and wants to lobby the support of all comedians to show solidarity for their community.

The very fact that Jim uses his comedy to bring the satirical irony that the world offers. According to critics and his fans, he does a terrific job and always impresses his fans!
