Trevorrow is yet again returning to the theatres after replenishing what Speilberg made successfully, and we are here to replenish the news about Jurassic World: Dominion, Whats’s going to happen after the dinosaurs roam around the human territory? (Maybe they’ll just get depressed and eat McDonald’s every day). Jurassic World 3 would be the first big-budget studio tentpole movie to resume its production during this pandemic.
“The plan is for us to be shooting early-mid July,” a senior Universal production executive confirmed.
Universal has already confirmed that all safety measures will be considered and on-set facility to treat or take precautionary measures with regards to the infection are being developed.
“Anyone with symptoms will be isolated immediately before being sent home, We want to make sure we are going above and beyond the national protocols to create a safe environment. Cost isn’t our main concern now: it’s safety.” a production executive commented.
Jurassic World: Dominion, if all goes alright, is set to release on June 11, 2021. This is really special for the fans, especially for the Millenials, as Speilberg’s epic Jurassic Park released this day on 1993, so this might be kind of a reunion for fans or different generation as they re-imagine the nostalgia associated with both, Trevorrow and Speilberg, who, by the way, are also producing Jurassic World’s 3rd instalment.
Colin Treverrow is all set to, of course, direct the movie. Emily Carmichael who has been working with Trevorrow from day one of Jurassic World will scribe the script again. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom made over 1.3 billion dollars worldwide and was among the top 15 highest-grossing movies of all time. The end of “Fallen Kingdom” saw the Dinosaurs escaping to the Human territory. Trevorrow when asked about the theme and ideas that he might show in the threequel, said:
“I think we’ve built enough of a popcorn empire that for the third film we can really start addressing some themes and ideas and laying out some clear facts to make sure kids recognize that science is real and dinosaurs are real and we didn’t make this stuff up.”
So, this might be an indication that Trevorrow, now wants to enter in the territory of Filmmakers like Nolan, who specifically use scientific facts, thoughts, philosophy and experiments as important plot points in their films. This might also be an indication that Paramount is now wanting to compete with great sci-fi epics like Star Wars/Trek and Marvel/Dc franchises. Along with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howards in the lead, the exciting news is that Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are going to reprise their roles from Spielberg’s Jurassic Park in this new Threequel. We will have to wait for more news as shooting commences again!
