One of the most underestimated franchises in the history of gaming, the Mafia series. It is having a stunning remaster in the form of Mafia: Trilogy.
Mafia is a series of action games designed by 2K Czech. It is the third installment of Hangar 13 and is produced by 2K Games.
Players in the Mafia series are set in fictitious places modeled after American towns. The game takes place in a historic setting, from the great recession-era Lost Heaven throughout the main game, to the New Bordeaux in Mafia III in the 1960s.
The three games in the Mafia series concentrate on various characters who are attempting to grow through the ranks of the criminal underworld, although their reasons for doing so vary from game to game.
Publishing company 2K Games revealed on May 14, 2020, the Mafia: Trilogy.
Gameplay
Gameplay relies on an open-world setting where players can select missions to progress the overall plot as well as to participate in side events, but in a more predictable manner.
Each game in the Mafia series allows the user to play the part of a criminal in a major city. The user is usually a person who aims to grow through the ranks of organized crime.
Mafia 3 is taking a somewhat different direction from the first two games by relying on Lincoln Clay. Clay is a native of New Bordeaux, based in New Orleans. He seeks to create his criminal enterprise and seize the city from the Italian mafia that is now controlling it.
Teaser
The teaser promises a complete release on May 19. But fans will have to wait a little while to figure out all details about the Mafia Trilogy, such as its release date, and platforms.
The Mafia Trio teaser video reveals the Hangar 13 logo at the bottom, therefore the Northern California studio is also working on this title.

The video takes players back to Empire Bay, a fictitious city influenced by New York City in the 1930s to the 1950s. Tommy Angelo, the protagonist of the main series. The teaser also reveals the characters in the other two installments of the series.
The Mafia Trilogy ‘s announcement arrives the same year as Sony and Microsoft are set to launch their next-generation consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The first Mafia was launched on PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC in 2002. Mafia 2 was released in 2010 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. While the newest title in the Mafia 3 franchise, followed in 2016 by the next generation consoles. Although it’s not clear whether the next Mafia title will be launched on these platforms.
