Developed by Retro Studios, Metroid Prime 4 is an upcoming video game that is published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It was announced at E3 2017 and was reportedly initially developed by Bandai Namco Studios. The development restarted under Retro Studios, developer of the previous Metroid Prime games in January 2019. Kensuke Tanabe worked on the first Prime games and returned as a producer. There are no updates regarding the development of the game until now and nothing much has been disclosed so far.
For now, we can look back at the original game although it won’t give us a lot of hints. we can say that a lot of things are going to happen. The third installment of the trilogy had a lot of endings that were determined by the percentage of things that you discovered while the film ended. All the endings were different but most of them were open-ended and whatever the results were, the main villains were defeated towards the end. The storyline of the game is supposed to go in a different direction and things might become more complicated after everything that has happened.

Metroid Prime 4 Gameplay
A lot of things remain unknown but the last game from Retro Studios was able to receive decent feedback. Metroid Prime 4 is expected to follow the same format and feature the same gameplay elements as we witnessed in the original trilogy. We can also expect to see some puzzles along with a lot of platforms where you have to jump and a lot of other things like Samus helmet display and radar will also return this time. The developers have kept a lot of things covered for now and they won’t reveal anything so soon. Although we don’t know much about the gameplay, we can say that the game will bring more action and thrill which means that you won’t like to leave it so soon.
Metroid Prime 4 Release Date
A release date for Metroid Prime 4 has not been confirmed until now but it has entered development a long time ago. As per reports, the development of the game was going through some problem but Nintendo expected that Shinya Takahashi might cancel the game at some point. Takahashi stated at the time that they are going to take some more time until they can give some updates on the development and he used the word extensive, which means that things won’t be revealed so soon.
