Allison Road Gameplay
The game’s description states that the players are supposed to take a different role from the protagonist, whose identity remains unknown. He wakes up one day without remembering anything that has happened in the past and the game is covered throughout five nights where the main aim is to find the truth of the main character’s family. He also needs to find the hidden truth and fight against the dark forces that are living deep within the house as the clock starts to touch the time of 3:00 a.m.
Lilith Ltd had once released a video that seemingly featured the gameplay of Allison Road. The gameplay was said to be the same as P.T., which also had a protagonist exploring a townhouse which has been abandoned a long time ago. A majority of the objects can be interacted or inspected and the player is also shown in a condition where he could equip himself with sharp weapons, including a meat cleaver.
Allison Road Release Date
The game has been in the pre-development phase since 2015 and Lilith Ltd later released a video of 14 minutes where players were able to witness the gameplay. The developers tried to ensure that the game’s story is not revealed and the footage was made only for the demo video. The same video was not used inside the game. Lilith Ltd later launched a Kickstarter campaign to help in the financing of Allison Road but it was canceled after Team17 agreed to publish the game. The game was expected to be released for Nintendo Switch at the same time but Team17 did not confirm anything on the same.
The website states that developers were planning to release the game in the third quarter of 2016 but the game was canceled by the developers in 2016. The main creator stated that the game’s development has started again. The development was expected to happen under the supervision of Far From Home, a new studio that was established by him in collaboration with his wife. There have been no updates regarding the game’s development until 2019 and its social media accounts have also been canceled. Kesler was reportedly working on the game as a concept artist and matter painter.
