Rutherford Falls Plot and Cast
Rutherford Falls Season 1 ended with a twist. Although Rutherford worked to protect his family statue, it seems that he is not connected to the founder of Rutherford Falls. This opens a lot of opportunities for Season 2 and it will be interesting to see how the show would continue to address real world problems like colonialism and progressivism.
The basic premise follows two lifelong friend, Nathan Rutherford and Reagan Wells, whose relationship is tested when a crisis hits their small town. When the mayor decides to move a statue of Nathan’s ancestor because car drivers keep crashing into it, Nathan starts a quest to keep the statue in its place, causing Reagan to juggle loyalty to her friend and to her people, the Minishonka Nation.
Talking about the cast, the leads of Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles. This includes Ed Helms, Michael Greyeyes, Jana Schmieding, Jesse Leigh and Dustin Milligan.
Rutherford Falls Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Rutherford Falls premiered in April 2021 and it was renewed for a second season in July 2021. The makers have confirmed that the second season is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2022.
