Created by Katori Hall, P-Valley is a drama series made for Starz. Hall is also the executive producer alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Dante Di Loreto and Patrik-Ian Polk.
The first season of the series premiered on July 12, 2020 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. It currently has an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and has scored 85 out of 100 on Metacritic. Considering the positive response, the makers have already renewed the series for a second season.

P-Valley Plot and Cast
Starz reported that P-Valley Season 2 would continue to challenge the characters we know as they face new problems in their lives. The new season might focus on the characters navigating the new leadership dynamic after the first season ended with Autumn purchasing The Pynk off of Uncle Clifford. This saved their jobs, but a new leader came with it.
Autumn has moved well beyond the timid, new girl on the block just learning the ropes, that she was at the beginning of Season 1. While her origin story and shady past that led her to The Pynk are still surrounded by ambiguity, this could slowly be uncovered to audiences as she undoubtedly faces power struggles with Uncle Clifford.
Coming to the cast, the leads of the first two seasons are expected to reprise their roles. This includes Brandee Evans, Nicco Annan, Shannon Thornton, Elarica Johnson, Skyler Joy, J. Alphonese Nicholson, Parker Sawyers, Harriett D. Foy, Dan J. Johnson and Tyler Lepley. We can expect to see some new faces.
P-Valley Season 2 Release Date
The first season of P-Valley was released in July 2020 and it was renewed for a second season two weeks following the premiere of Season 1. Season 2 is now officially scheduled to be released on June 3, 2022.
The new season might consist of eight episodes like the first season, although an official confirmation is awaited. The series is produced by Chernin Entertainment and Kat Buggy Productions.
