Created by Laurie Nunn, Sex Education is a comedy-drama series made for Netflix. The show managed to receive positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The first season premiered on January 11, 2019 followed by the second on January 17, 2020 and third on September 17, 2021. The series also holds a viewership record with around 40 million viewers streaming the first season after its release. It has been already renewed for a fourth season.

Sex Education Plot and Cast
Sex Education Season 3 left a lot of questions unanswered. Maeve and Otis’ relationship hangs in the balance with Maeve going overseas to study. Jean has to find out the father of her baby and confess the truth to everyone she knows.
The new headmistress Hope Haddon is expected to change the dynamics at Moordale while Eric and his boyfriend Adam get separated. Aimee has her own personal growth while Ola and Lily have their own relationship problems which would get resolved by the end of the season.
There are various couples in the show who make up, break up and continue to struggle with their relationships by the end of third season. Overall, there are a lot of drama to be seen in the upcoming season.
Season 4 is expected to see various actors reprising their roles including Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey and Connor Swindells. We would also get to see Kedar Williams-Stirling, Alistair Petrie, Mimi Keene, Aimee Lou Wood and others.
Sex Education Season 4 Release Date
The makers of Sex Education are yet to disclose the release date for Season 4. Since the third season was released in 2021, we can expect the fourth season to release sometime in 2023.
Just like the previous three seasons, the upcoming season is expected to have eight episodes with the same runtime. Ben Taylor, Kate Herron, Alice Seabright and others are expected to return as directors.
