Role playing video games are always fun and gaming studios are slowly developing numerous games in this genre. Video game company Spike Chunsoft has been working on a game titled Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. The name is too long and might be difficult for anyone to pronounce but it is expected to receive a massive response considering that it is a new entry in the Shiren the Wanderer franchise.

The developers have shared a few glimpses in the last few months and the game is now officially scheduled to arrive on January 25, 2024.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island is set between the events of Monster of Moonlight Village and The Eye of God and the Devil’s Navel. Shiren and Koppa are no longer staying at the Tsukikage Village and they drean of an island, leading them to a treasure island called Serpentcoil Island.
The duo decide to enter the island but they ignore the rumors that the treasure is inside a monster. They are additionally tasked to save a lost girl who was responsible for their dream. They are joined by another character called Asuka who plans to reunite with her allies. There is also an inkeeper of Uzumaki-Ya named Suzuna who would offer help throughout the entire journey.
The gameplay is not getting any major changes. Things would remain the same like the usual and the plater has to go through dungeons and fight monsters. The game will also take reference from the earlier installments. The UI has also been upgraded and it will now show the capacity of the inventory. New monsters have also been added for more fun.
