Created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, Solar Opposites is an adult animated sitcom, made for Hulu. Roiland and McMahan are also the executive producers alongside Josh Bycel and Anthony Chun.
The first season was released on Hulu on May 8, 2020, and the second season premiered on March 26, 2021. The third season was released on July 13, 2022, and since the show has received decent feedback from critics and audiences, the makers have renewed it for a fourth and fifth season.

Solar Opposites Plot and Cast
The third season of Solar Opposites premiered this month and although the show was renewed for a fourth season in 2021, it is hard to predict what would happen in Season 4. Now the ending of Season 4 will decide what will happen in Season 5 and all we need to do right now is wait for the release of Season 4.
The main plot focuses on a family of aliens from a better world who tries to reside and stay among normal people in middle America. They are not sure if this makes them happy or sad. There is a parallel storyline where a society of humans shrunk by the replicant Yumyulack and imprisoned in a terrarium known as “The Wall”.
Talking about the cast, the actors from the first three seasons should come back to reprise their roles. This includes Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone, Mary Mack, and Sagan McMahan. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces, and the names shall be revealed soon.
Solar Opposites Season 5 Release Date
The latest season of Solar Opposites was released this month. Since it is an animated show, the making won’t consume a lot of time and considering that, Season 4 should arrive sometime in 2023. If Season 4 releases in 2023, then Season 5 should premiere by 2024.
