The Crown Season 6 Plot and Cast
It has been confirmed for now that the series will be back with the sixth season but it remains unknown what would happen in the upcoming season. Since the fifth season has not premiered yet, we cannot predict anything about what would happen in Season 6. However, it will continue from where the fifth season would end.
The basic premise focuses on the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding in 1947 to Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, until the early 21st century. The previous season was set during Margaret Thatcher’s period as prime minister from 1979 to 1990 and focused on Lady Diana Spencer.
Coming to the cast, we cannot say anything as Season 5 has not premiered yet. Still, we can expect to see Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki, Olivia Colman, Lesley Manville, Claire Foy, and others in the lead roles.
The Crown Season 6 Release Date
In July 2020, the makers renewed The Crown for a sixth season and this happened before the premiere of Season 5. Season 5 then premiered on November 9, 2022.
The new season might also have 10 episodes as the previous seasons of the series have but an official announcement is yet to confirm it. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that The Crown Season 6 will come out in two parts, with the first part premiering on November 16, 2023 followed by the second on December 14, 2023.
