The Haunting of Bly Manor is the follow-up season of one of the spookiest Netflix horror anthology series The Haunting of Hill House(2018). The first season set in The Hill House was much loved by the viewers and for quite a while now there has been a buzz about Season 2 of the series. However, this follow-up season is going to be in a completely new setting, and even scarier. Directed and created by Mike Flanagan, The Haunting of Bly Manor is going to be based on the 1898 horror novel The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.
This season is leaving the Crain family from season 1 behind and entering into a new world, with a new story that blends supernatural and gothic elements in a fine range. Netflix has confirmed the release of the second season in 2020.

When exactly is The Haunting of Bly Manor releasing this year? The release date has not yet been out by Netflix. However, the official social media page has confirmed that it is coming out “This Fall”.
The production of The Haunting of Bly Manor commenced on September 30th, 2019, and wrapped up by February 2020. The 2020 release of the series was confirmed by a single tweet on February 2019.
The trailer is not released by Netflix, but we are expecting it to be out soon along with the release date.
The plot of the Series:
There is no dramatic link between the two stories. As per Netflix’s description ‘” From the creator of “The Haunting of Hill House” comes a gothic romance ghost story based on the stories of Henry James.”
Everything is going to be different: The plot, the setting, and the characters. As per sources, the story orbits around a young governess hired by a man to take care of his niece and nephew. The setting is a country house giving the story a gothic touch. The governess soon starts to see apparitions that begin haunting the premises.

We will get to see some familiar faces from the first season. Victoria Pedretti as Dani, Oliver Jackson-Cohen as Peter, Rahul Kohli as Owen, Tahirah Sharif as Miss Jessel. We also have Henry Thomas, Catherine Parker, and Kate Seigel as a part of the amazing cast.
