The Victims’ Game Season 2: Release Date, Trailer, and more!

Developed by Monomyth Co., Ltd. The Victims’ Game is a Taiwanese Hokkien language thriller drama television series. It was based on The Fourth Victim by INFINITY.

Written by Liang Shu-ting and Hsu Ruei-Liang, the series first premiered on Netflix on April 30, 2020. Directed by David Chuang and Chen Kuan-Chung, the series was renewed for a second season in September 2020 and is scheduled to premiere soon.

The Victims’ Game Season 2 Release Date

The first season arrived on April 30, 2020, and the show’s landing page on Netflix provided a 2022 release date for The Victims’ Game Season 2. However, the makers have confirmed that the new season will be released on April 25, 2024.

The upcoming season is expected to have eight episodes like Season 1. The rest of the details are yet to be revealed by the show’s creators.

The Victims’ Game Season 2 Plot and Cast

Although plot details for the second season are yet to be revealed, it looks like the three will be caught in some form of danger again. However, this time, Fang Yi-Jen has already reconnected with his daughter, which could significantly impact how they will handle future predicaments.

Yi-Jen might have more time to spend with his daughter now that he’s stepped out of his exhaustive role as a detective. It’s also possible for the former forensic expert to reunite with Hsu Hai-Yin in future cases.

The official casting details are not available, but there is a possibility that the original cast members might return. This includes Joseph Chang as Fang Yi-Jen, the former forensic scientist with Asperger’s syndrome, Ann Hsu as Hsu Hai-Yin, the investigative reporter who worked with Yi-Jen in solving the cases, and Moon Lee as Chiang Hsiao-Meng, Fang Yi-Jen’s daughter.
