The comedy series focuses on a father-son duo. Jackson is a shy individual who starts working for his father Ellis, who has been highly successful. He joins a bio-research facility owned by his father so that he can save his father from destroying himself after his wife’s demise.

The first seven episodes of the new season are written by Andrew Gurland, Sean Clements, Justin Nowell, Guy Endore-Kaiser, Dominic Eugene Dierkes, John Owen Lowe, and Samantha Shanke and the last episode is written by Alexandra Rushfield and Kate Loveless from a story by Rushfield.
