Unstable Plot and Cast
The comedy series focuses on a father-son duo. Jackson is a shy individual who starts working for his father Ellis, who has been highly successful. He joins a bio-research facility owned by his father so that he can save his father from destroying himself after his wife’s demise.
The main cast of the series included Rob Lowe as Ellis Dragon, John Owen Lowe as Jackson Dragon, Sian Clifford as Anna, Aaron Branch as Malcolm, Rachel Marsh as Luna, and Emma Pilar Ferreira as Ruby.
The recurring cast of the series included Fred Armisen as Leslie, Tom Allen as TJ, JT Parr as Chaz, Christina Chang as Jean, and Merrick McCartha as Ted.
Unstable Season 2 Release Date
The developers renewed the series for a second season on November 16, 2023, with Andrew Gurland taking over as showrunner. The developers have confirmed that the new season will consist of eight episodes like the first season.
The first seven episodes of the new season are written by Andrew Gurland, Sean Clements, Justin Nowell, Guy Endore-Kaiser, Dominic Eugene Dierkes, John Owen Lowe, and Samantha Shanke and the last episode is written by Alexandra Rushfield and Kate Loveless from a story by Rushfield. The makers have officially confirmed that the new season will be released on August 1, 2024.
