So, when is the second season releasing? What is the plot? Who will play the lead roles? Keep reading to know further details.

Vikings: Valhalla Plot and Cast

The historical drama’s time is set 100 years after the Vikings: Valhalla’s time. The show is thrilling with an action-packed adventure that makes it a must-watch. Vikings: Valhalla shows the conflict between the Saxons and northerners of Scandinavia.

It is believed that Jarl Haakon had died at the end of the series season 1. Moreover, the fact is unleashed that Olaf had given false information to the defenders, so they had split their troops. Freydis had killed Kre and escaped with Harald. Forkbeard wins and dominates the Danish Navy. Emma helps Forkbeard in the task.

Later on, Forkbread and Emma attack Kattegat, occupying Olaf’s city. At the same time, Liv dies in the arms of Leif. Then Leif ends up preparing to trouble Canute’s son Svein. Season 2 would unleash the boy’s identity. So Leish would be searching for Harald and his sister. Moreover, the boy would know what Freydis did to get into power.

Now talking about cast, fans can expect the return of Sam Corlett in the Vikings: Valhalla cast as Leif Eriksson, Frida Gustavsson as Freydís Eiríksdóttir, and Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson. It’s also likely that Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson’s Olaf will be back too, along with Soren Pilmark as King Forkbeard and Bradley Freegard as King Canute. While Jarl Haakon dies in Season 1, actress Caroline Henderson who portrays her has hinted that we might see more of her character in Season 2.
