Vikings: Valhalla Season 3: Release Date, Plot, and More!

Created by Jeb Stuart, Vikings: Valhalla is a historical drama series made for Netflix. Stuart is also the executive producer alongside Morgan O’Sullivan, Michael Hirst, Sheila Hockin, Steve Stark, James Flynn, John Weber, Niels Arden Oplev, Sherry Marsh, Alan Gasmer, and Pail Buccieri.

The series’s first season premiered on February 25, 2022, and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. It currently holds an approval rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. Considering the positive response, the series has already been renewed for a second and third season.

Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 Plot

The makers have only renewed Vikings: Valhalla for a third season. However, they have not revealed anything about the plot of Season 3 since Season 2 has not premiered yet and Season 1 premiered recently in February 2022.

The basic premise of the series is set 100 years after the events of the Vikings, as tensions between the Vikings and the English royals teach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings clash themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and Pagan beliefs.

Leif Erikson, Freydis Eirikdsottir, and Harald Hardrada begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory. The series shows the end of the Viking Age, marked by the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.

Where To Watch Vikings: Valhalla Season 3?

The previous two seasons of the show were released on Netflix. The third season is also going to be aired on the same platform.

The developers of Vikings: Valhalla has not released a trailer for Season 3. Until it comes out, watch the trailer for Season 1 above.

Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 Release Date and Cast

The creators of Vikings: Valhalla has confirmed that the third season is confirmed to premiere in 2023. Considering that, the fourth season should release sometime in 2024.

Coming to the cast, we should get to see Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, Leo Suter, Bradley Freegard, Johannes Haukur Johanneson, Caroline Henderson, Laura Berlin, and David Oakes in the lead roles. Since it will be a new season, we can expect to see some new faces.
